Navy - Fees and Tuition

Navy students have three options for payment. Effective Fall 2019, the tuition rate is $210 per credit/SH.

Option 1: Tuition Assistance (TA) Authorization

Please preview the Navy College's website for a list of steps required for TA Authorization.   One step requires that students supply a degree plan prior to applying for Tuition Assistance. Please visit Coastline's Unofficial Evaluation Page  for instructions on requesting an unofficial education plan.

Step 1: Apply for Tuition Assistance (TA)

Please enter this School Code: 1122A on your TA.

  1. Go to the Navy College site:
  2. Login to WebTA and access “My Education.”
  3. Use the Search Course feature to select a class.

It is highly recommended you submit your WebTA application for command approval at least 30 days in advance via the My Education portal. Per NAVADMIN 219/16, all WebTA applications must be submitted and command approved no later than 14 days prior to your term start date.

Students will be notified once TA is Command Approved; another email is issued once TA is “Authorized."

Step 2: Submit TA Authorization to Coastline

  1. Log into the WebTA found on the official Navy College site.
  2. Select “Tuition Assistance.”
  3. Select "Review Applications."
  4. Select “View” to print or save a copy of the voucher.
  5. Email a copy to or fax it to (714)241-6270 by the registration deadline.

 Option 2: Financial Aid

Financial aid recipients who are scheduled to receive a disbursement are no longer required to pay their tuition by the payment submission deadline.  Financial aid funds will be applied directly to their outstanding balance with Coastline before monies are issued to the student.  Financial Aid recipients should check their financial aid status in MyCCC to confirm that they are scheduled to receive a disbursement.

 Option 3: Credit/Debit Card/Check

Students paying tuition out-of-pocket or who are authorized for less than 100% of tuition must submit the remaining balance by the registration/payment deadline.

Payment may be made by credit/debit card in MyCCC. Checks and money orders are payable to "Coastline Community College."

Option 4: GI Bill®

In order to be certified to use GI Bill® benefits, please contact Coastline's Veteran Certifying Official.  Students are required to contact Coastline's Veteran Certifying Official each time a class is added or dropped.
