EA Trentham

EA Trentham

  • NAS Fallon, National Test Center

E. A. Trentham is a 20-year veteran of the United States Navy, who entered the service directly out of high school. His active-duty job revolved primarily around RADAR operations, tracking & identifying both shipping & air contacts, providing tactical information to the bridge officers, and documenting events as they occurred. Within this "Operations Specialist" field, he further specialized as an air controller, employing tactics to target & track submarine activity. This is where he earned his nickname "Trim" as the abstraction of his last name became his personal call-sign. In 1992, E. A. qualified as a "Group Paced Instructor" (9502) and spent 3-years teaching the same air control school as a Navy assignment in San Diego.

15-years into his military career, E. A. shifted roles by converting to the "Navy Counselor" rating/M.O.S., taking charge of both the career information counseling program at his command, and subject matter expert / information disseminator on a wide range of topics, from retirement benefits, voluntary education programs, officer candidacy, and special assignment programs, to name a few.

After retiring from the military, E. A. went to work in the gaming industry as a floor manager with W.C.W. Corporation, a Northern-Nevada casino chain. Within 6-months he was promoted to manage the historic "Nugget" casino in Fallon, NV, and a year later became promotions director and event M.C. for the entire chain.

As a proud alumnus of Coastline, he earned his A.A. in Supervision and Management (2011), transferring credentials to the University of Phoenix (Reno campus) for his B.S. in Business Management (2013). He is also happy to be 'moonlighting' at the base bowling alley, where he promotes Coastline and the NTC to base personnel.

E. A. Trentham has lived in Fallon, NV since 2003
