Official Degree Planning for Military Spouses Program Students

An academic plan is required if you are pursuing an AA degree at Coastline and/or if you are applying for financial aid. Students can request that an advisor prepare a Degree Plan for them by completing the Degree Plan Request Form.

Please note that a Degree Plan/SOC Student Agreement will be prepared when:

• The student is enrolled and underway in a course in our Military Spouses program
  
  
• The student has filled out the Degree Plan Request Form.
  
  
• Official transcripts from all colleges previously attended have been received. (For information on where to send transcripts, please visit: http://military.coastline.edu/transcript_subm.cfm)

Once these conditions have been met, the college will prepare the Degree Plan and mail it to the student's Coastline account. The process typically takes 3-4 weeks. To inquire about a Degree Plan, please email spouseadvising@coastline.edu

DEGREE PLAN UPDATES/CHANGES

If you have ordered additional transcripts to be included in your evaluation, taken additional units at Coastline, or you wish to change your major, please submit the Degree Progress Update Form. Updates may be requested ONCE PER YEAR.
