Unofficial Education Plan

Thank you for considering Coastline College. If you're a first time student and you need assistance with determining how your prior coursework and military training will fit into our rate-related degree plan, you can receive an Unofficial Education Plan. If you are not currently enrolled and would like an Unofficial Education Plan, please fax a copy of your military transcript and transcripts from colleges you have previously attended to (714) 241-6324 or email them to unofficialevaluations@coastline.edu. Army soldiers email documents to army@coastline.edu. Please include your email address and your phone number in your fax. You will receive your Unofficial Education Plan within 7 to 10 days.

The "unofficial" evaluation is provided to assist prospective or new students with the selection of their first course at Coastline and to provide an overview of requirements toward an associate degree. This evaluation is not a guaranteed degree plan and is subject to change upon receipt of official transcripts and reviewed by an authorized counselor or SOC evaluator. Official Student Agreements (SOC Agreements) are provided once students enroll in courses at Coastline and submit official military transcripts. An official SOC Agreement and official transcripts must be on file prior to petitioning for graduation.

Official SOC Student Agreements are provided once enrollment is confirmed and official military transcripts are received. For a thorough evaluation it is recommended that students request official transcripts from colleges you have previously attended to be sent to Coastline College prior to submitting official military transcripts.

An official SOC Student Agreement must be completed and official transcripts must be submitted to Coastline College prior to petitioning for graduation.
