Mental Health Counseling
We are happy to announce that Coastline has teamed up with US Vets in providing free mental health counseling services and support to veterans and their families through a service known as Outside the Wire.
Outside the Wire offers confidential mental health services to veterans and their family members who are struggling to adjust to civilian life. Through individual, group, and family therapy, Outside the Wire provides anger management strategies, substance abuse treatment, and coping & problem-solving skills.
The Veterans Resource Center will be hosting weekly visits by an Outside the Wire counselor each semester, however, one-on-one appointments can always be arranged as needed. Upcoming counselor visits will be posted on the Veterans Resource Center webpage under Veterans News and Events
and will be promoted accordingly.
Veterans and Veteran family members who would like to get more information or set up an appointment with an Outside the Wire counselor may contact the Coastline VRC at 714-241-6126 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Veterans may also contact the Outside the Wire counselor directly at 213-545-6931.
